Responsibilities include:
Development of customized reports
Develop and maintain customized software solutions
Develop and maintain internal and external websites
Development of customized reports
Assume role of network administrator when required
Troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues
Perform user account & security administration
Perform blackberry account administration
Perform mobile phone administration
Administer Sonitrol security (building security)
Solve user computer issues remotely and over the phone
Provide on-call support (after hours)
Plan and organize current and future Repair & Maintenance programs and the Preventative Maintenance contracts for all Komatsu machinesInput unit stock codes into spreadsheets to monitor costs of machine and ensure branches are using the program properly
Monitor costs of each machine for the life of the contract and report information to management on a monthly and yearly basis
Open work orders and assist branches with planning of Preventative Maintenance and component change outs including undercarriage for machine’s enrolled in the program
Create parts lists for each machine for Preventative Maintenance, under carriage and component change outs and then add to work orders to supply to the customer
Monitor all component failures and determine if a request for warranty or policy is required
Invoice customers on a monthly basis for hours used by units under contracts
Complete contract cost analysis on a monthly basis
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science along with advanced knowledge of programming languages and Microsoft active directory administration or equivalent work experience.
Experience with Microsoft terminal services and an understanding of Group policy and of TCP/IP Networks is required.

Make recommendations regarding the extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement

Interpret work order and technical manuals

The Thunder Bay branch has an immediate opportunity for a Product Support Representative.
The main objective of this position is to maintain and grow customer base
and sales of products and services as offered by Coneco, within the after sales Product Support activities,
which include sale of parts, service labour, service contracts and other products and services as promoted by the company.
Responsibilities include:
Calling on existing and prospective customers at frequency determined in conjunction with management and PSR
Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with the customers
Selling company products, services and support programs ensuring business retention, opening new accounts while preserving the best profitability for Coneco
Living within the boundaries of the branch territory.
Travelling daily to the customers within the territory as assigned by the company and according to the approved schedule.
Coordinating weekly activities with the Corporate Product Support Manager and respective Branch Parts and Service Managers.
Collecting machine sales leads and communicating to the Sales Department.
Reporting daily calls thru Customer Relationship Management program (crm).
Conducting new machine deliveries as directed by Branch Manager
Visiting each customer who has purchased a machine within the territory within four weeks of the delivery.
Promoting services offered by the Service Department in coordination with the respective Service Manager (scheduling, etc.).
Promoting parts and parts programs offered by the Parts Department in coordination with
the respective Parts Manager.
Producing Call Reports regarding customer contacts, potential deals, submitted quotes,
follow ups and lost business with comments.
Finding and documenting at least one new customer weekly.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, organized and possess strong interpersonal skills.
You must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. This position will have a significant amount of travel.
Preference will be given to applicants coming from either a parts or mechanical background. Previous sales experience will also be considered an asset.
